When it comes to creating on-screen magic, Jericho Rosales and Janine Gutierrez deliver rare and electrifying chemistry in “Lavender Fields.” Whether it’s their impeccable acting or the traces of real-life feelings they’re said to share, there’s something undeniably strong and passionate about their tandem, so much that we have felt the sizzling intensity between their characters even though they’re only seen in a few flashbacks and in the pilot week.

While we eagerly wait for what’s next in the story–like whether Jericho’s character, Tyrone, is still alive–let’s re-watch their scenes from “Lavender Fields” as compiled by Friday 5.

The video opens with Iris, played by Janine, flaunting her curves in a daring red bikini and joining Tyrone (Jericho) in the pool. The setting was charged with undeniable heat as she kissed him hungrily, showing her character’s desperation to rekindle what they had. Things got more gripping with Tyrone’s barely-there response. His mind was clearly elsewhere, weighed down by the brewing issues of theft within their company, and the fact that he had already met another woman.

While that moment perfectly captured the complexity of their relationship, with the cracks in Iris and Tyrone’s marriage already beginning to sprout, Jericho and Janine’s chemistry never faltered.

The tandem also brought fire during their wedding in “Lavender Fields.” Tyrone and Iris’ first night together as husband and wife was filled with desire, which was felt in every glance, touch, and kiss.

Their connection doesn't just spark in steamy moments; Jericho and Janine also bring out the best in each other’s huge dramatic abilities. In the sequences where Iris and Tyrone lost their baby due to a miscarriage, they pulled viewers into the depths of their characters' shared grief.

There are also scenes full of tenderness, like in another flashback where Tyrone gently caressed Iris and whispered sweet words to her. In that quiet, intimate moment, their eyes said it all—affection and devotion. The way they smiled at each other and shared a kiss felt so real, as if we were witnessing a genuine exchange between two people deeply in love.

Iris must have loved Tyrone so deeply that her world seemed to revolve entirely around him. Even now that he’s gone, she can’t escape his presence, as if he’s still with her in the stillness. In one particularly haunting scene, Iris was alone in the bathtub when she felt Tyrone in front of her, whispering, "I love you." She could almost feel his lips gently pressing a kiss to her forehead. But when she opened her eyes, he wasn’t there.

What made this more intriguing, though, was how this experience affected Iris. There was a strange mix of longing and something deeper, perhaps anger, so perfectly blended it was hard to tell where one emotion ended and the other began.
