Feng shui expert warns Duterte: Be careful in March

MANILA - President Rodrigo Duterte will have a generally good year, especially since he was born in the year of the rooster, feng shui expert Marites Allen said.

Allen, however, advised Duterte to take care of himself in the month of March, which is the month of the rabbit, an enemy of the rooster.

Duterte's birth date is March 28, 1945.

"Be careful during the month of March, which is the rabbit month because he (Duterte) is born on the year of the rooster," she said during the Pandesal Forum at Kamuning Bakery Cafe.

Those born under the rooster sign should also be careful between 5 a.m. to 7 a.m., which are hours ruled by the rabbit sign, while 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. are the best hours for them.

According to Allen, Duterte's friendship with Russian President Vladimir Putin makes sense because of their respective Chinese zodiacs.

"Our president, Duterte, a rooster, is in alliance with Vladimir Putin's dragon sign. Rooster and dragon are secret friends," she said.

Allen added that although 2017 will bring a lot of opportunities for the country, there will also be obstacles.

"Too many opportunities, but there are also obstacles. 2017 is like a magnet. Rooster, on its own, is a metal element energy. Metal can be turned into guns, into knives. Hurting somebody, you know, assassination attempts. It's there," she said.

She also warned of labor conflicts in big companies.

"It's like a magnet. So, people in large companies can group together and there's going to be like labor issues, labor problems, so these are the things we have to watch for," Allen said.
