<div class="embed-wrap"><figure data-feedback="fb:likes,fb:comments"><img src="http://sa.kapamilya.com/absnews/abscbnnews/media/2017/life/02/20/gateway-2.jpg"/></figure></div><p>MANILA -- Gateway Gallery celebrates the second anniversary of its “SiningSaysay: Philippine History in Art” exhibit by fusing art and history with technology through a digital interface that uses augmented reality. </p><p>Titled &quot;SiningLakbay: Philippine History in Augmented Reality,&quot; the exhibit aims to make history more interesting to millennials, who are known for being digital savvy.</p><p>Visitors may download a free app for either iOS and Android which will allow them to see 10 select paintings &quot;come to life&quot; by clicking on them, watching the videos, and hear narrations of Philippine history. </p><p>&quot;SiningLakbay&quot; is a joint project of the Araneta Center and the University of the Philippines in collaboration with different artists, filmmakers, historians, curators, editors, and technology providers. </p><div class="embed-wrap"><figure data-feedback="fb:likes,fb:comments"><img src="http://sa.kapamilya.com/absnews/abscbnnews/media/2017/life/02/20/gateway-1.jpg"/></figure></div><p>It is part of Gateway Gallery&#x27;s &quot;SiningSaysay: Philippine History in Art&quot; exhibit, which depicts prehistoric Philippines up to the time of former President Benigno Aquino III in 30 paintings by artists from the UP College of Fine Arts.</p><p>&quot;SiningLakbay&quot; will be launched on Wednesday, in time for the National Arts Month as well as the anniversary of the People Power Revolution on February 25. </p><p>Located at the 5th level of the Gateway Tower in Araneta Center, Gateway Gallery is free to the public.
