MANILA -- The Philippine Philharmonic Orchestra (PPO) is set to hold a weekly virtual event as part of its musical instruments appreciation series for children and families.

According to a statement released by the Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP), the virtual "instruments petting zoo" will be held at 4 p.m. every Sunday at the PPO Facebook page starting June 21, and will run for several months.

Each session will focus on a different instrument, with the first one to feature the violin and PPO's Christian Tan.

Viewers can expect PPO members to demonstrate how an instrument is used, as well as playing techniques and sample performances.
