CCP to stream 'Zsazsa Zaturnnah Ze Muzikal' in celebration of Pride Month

<p>MANILA -- The Cultural Center of the Philippines (CCP) is celebrating Pride Month by streaming &quot;Zsazsa Zaturnnah Ze Muzikal&quot; this weekend. </p><p>The 2011 archival recording of Tanghalang Pilipino&#x27;s musical will premiere at 3 p.m. on June 20 on CCP&#x27;s YouTube channel.</p><p>It stars Eula Valdez as Zsazsa Zaturnnah, with Tuxqs Rutaquio as Ada, Nar Cabico as Didi, Red Anderson as Dodong, and Kalila Aguilos as Queen Femina Suarestella Baroux.</p><p>Right after the premiere, cast members of past &quot;Zaturnnah&quot; stagings will hold a Zoom reunion which will be shown live on the CCP Facebook page and Vimeo channel. <br/> <br/>At 3 p.m. on June 23, there will be a round-table discussion on the musical featuring members of the academe and the LGBTQIA community. </p><div><script src="https://connect.facebook.net/en_US/sdk.js#xfbml=1&amp;version=v2.5" async="" type="text/javascript"></script></div><div class="fb-post" data-href="https://www.facebook.com/culturalcenterofthephilippines/photos/pb.356518611096396.-2207520000../2974720855942812/?type=3&amp;theater" data-width="auto"> </div><p>First staged in 2006, &quot;Zsazsa Zaturnnah Ze Muzikal&quot; is taken from the original comic book story written by Carlo Vergara, with libretto by Chris Martinez and direction by Chris Millado. </p><p>It enjoyed almost 6 years under the spotlight and has become Tanghalang Pilipino&#x27;s longest-running show.</p>
