New titles up for grabs in this year's Miss World Philippines

<div class="embed-wrap"><figure data-feedback="fb:likes,fb:comments"><img src="http://sa.kapamilya.com/absnews/abscbnnews/media/2017/life/07/08/miss-world-2017-070717.jpg?ext=.jpg"/><figcaption><div class="embed-desc">Catriona Gray (center) is set to crown her Miss World Philippines successor this September 3. <cite>Courtesy of Miss World Philippines <a href="http://www.missworldphilippines.com/photo-gallery/" target="_blank">official website</a></cite></div></figcaption></figure></div><p>Besides the actual beauty-pageant crown, the contestants of this year&#x27;s Miss World Philippines will have 3 new titles to compete for. </p><p>It was announced Friday that the titles of Miss Eco Philippines, Reina Hispanoamericana Filipinas, and Miss Multinational Philippines will also be up for grabs come coronation night on September 3. </p><p>Each winner will get to represent the country in the corresponding international beauty pageants, namely Miss ECO International 2018, Reina Hispanoamericana, and Miss Multinational.</p><p>The pageant&#x27;s new national director, Arnold Vegafria, added that two other ladies will also be crowned first princess and second princess. </p><p>&quot;I am looking forward to continuing our mission of uplifting the image of the Filipina in the global pageant circuit,&quot; he said. </p><p>This year&#x27;s coronation night will be held at Mall of Asia Arena in Pasay City. </p><p>The pageant is open to all Filipino candidates both locally and abroad. Deadline for applicants will be on July 22. </p>
