It&#x27;s as if these two things don&#x27;t go together,&quot; she said.&quot;In winning the L&#x27;Oreal UNESCO For Women in Science Fellowship, I will be able to bring this story that mothers can also succeed in science,&quot; Romero added.Founded in 1998 by L&#x27;Oreal and UNESCO, the For Women in Science program aims to promote and highlight &quot;the critical importance of ensuring greater participation of women in science.&quot;The fellows were given a $25,000 grant to further their research.
