<p>MANILA -- The Philippines&#x27; Gazini Ganados debuted her &quot;Phoenix Walk&quot; on the Miss Universe stage in the US on Friday (Saturday in Manila), slaying in her two-piece swimsuit.</p><p>The 23-year-old model and elderly care advocate flaunted her curves and twirled with her yellow cape during the preliminaries in Atlanta, Georgia that was co-hosted by the reigning Miss Universe, the while other candidates slipped on stage, including Miss France Maëva Coucke and Miss Malaysia Shweta Sekhon.</p><p>The preliminary swimsuit, evening gown and interview rounds will determine who will advance to the semifinals during the finals on Sunday (early Monday in Manila).</p><p>Miss Universe 2019 airs on Dec. 9 at 8 a.m. on ABS-CBN and on its streaming platform, iWant.</p>
