He was 82.Aniceto, who served as ABS-CBN&#x27;s general manager from 1986 to 1987, died on March 16.His remains are in Rowland Heights, California. Memorial services are planned for Saturday, April 2, 2016 at the Queen of Heaven Mortuary at 2161 S. Fullerton Road, Rowland Heights, California.ABS-CBN Integrated News and Current Affairs head Ging Reyes said Aniceto was the first boss of many ABS-CBN veterans who joined the network soon after it reopened post-EDSA Revolution.Aniceto&#x27;s career spanned 50 years, starting out at 17 as a radio talent before rising to manage the largest, most modern radio-television network in the Philippines, ABS-CBN.From being a radio talent, Aniceto worked for various radio stations such as DZPI, DZRH, and DZMB. He also became the operations director of Radio Philippines Network before becoming the Program Director for Radio and Television of ABS-CBN.He was the station manager of Channel 2 from 1971 to 1972 and Channel 13 from 1973 to 1976.He also served as Executive Vice President and General Manager of Blackgold Records Corp, and Vice President &amp; General Manager of ABS-CBN Broadcasting Corporation.In the United States, Aniceto became the editor and bureau chief of Philippine News; television host and producer of Grand Chevrolet Hour; host and producer of Marketer: ATIN ITO; producer-host of Hello, Philippines!; and writer-director for the 1983 stage musical &#x27;&#x27;Green Card&#x27;&#x27;.He also had a radio program at KMAX and authored &#x27;&#x27;Stay Tuned: The Golden Years of Philippine Radio (2007)&#x27;&#x27;.Aniceto was a product of Torres High School. He took up Fine Arts at the University of Santo Tomas and Speech and Drama at the Ateneo de Manila. He also studied at the Asian Institute of Management.
