I just posted the photo dahil nag-close na kami, nag-close na &#x27;yung show, and so I posted and said thank you to everybody that watched. Somehow, nag-blow up na &#x27;yung phone ko. Like everyone was sending it to me for some reason, and the memes are funny — ang witty talaga ng mga tao sa internet,” he said.</span><span> </span></div><div><span>Despite his newfound muscular physique, the actor-singer clarified that bulking up wasn’t part of his preparation for the character Daniel.</span><span><br/></span></div><div><span>He revealed that his fitness journey started last year, and the transformation was purely personal. </span><span><br/></span></div><div><span>“Nagkataon lang talaga. Hindi naman siya part ng preparation or anything or part ng character. Last year, I just got into fitness and tinuloy-tuloy ko lang siya. I became very dedicated, going maybe 5 to 6 times a week. &#x27;Yun, naging part na lang siya ng routine ko,” he said.</span></div><div><span>Concepcion also admitted he doesn’t follow a strict diet, focusing more on protein intake. </span><span><br/></span></div><div><span>“I don’t follow any diet strictly. I think actually I’m a hard gainer. When I was starting out, I was very skinny, and it was always harder for me to gain. So, I just try to get my protein as much as I can,” he said.</span></div><div><span>Beyond his viral fitness moment, Concepcion has been keeping busy in the theater world. He recently finished &quot;Once on This Island&quot; and is still performing in the musical &quot;One More Chance.&quot;</span></div><div><span>Though his theater commitments have kept him from working on his music, the actor-singer assured fans that he’s not stepping away from his singing career. </span><span><br/></span></div><div><span>He released two songs last year, “Kapit” and “Otomatika,” and has plans to release new music by December or early next year.</span></div><div><span>“That’s something I’m working on at the moment. Dahil nga sa theater, it really takes up so much of my time that music has sort of taken a back seat muna since I started &#x27;One More Chance&#x27; around March,” Concepcion said.</span></div>
