MANILA -- Star Magic artist Anji Salvacion has a condition if ever she decides to join a beauty pageant.

"I don't know. I'm not closing my doors. Maybe I will join, maybe I won't," Salavacion said in an interview with ABS-CBN News.  

Knowing the pressure of pageants, Salvacion said she wants to prove herself not just in terms of beauty and popularity but her real purpose as a candidate.  

"I want to have purpose," Salvacion said. "Because I just don't want to be on the stage na, 'yeah Anji is there.' ...The goal is to inspire little children kasi sila 'yung mga titingalain ng next generation."

Just recently, Salvacion ventured into a more upbeat, sultry and edgy sound with her newly released-six-track package extended play (EP) titled "Grit."
