Miss Universe 2012 runner-up Janine Tugonon is pregnant

MANILA -- Former Miss Universe 2012 runner-up Janine Tugonon has turned to social media to share that she is expecting her first child.

In her Instagram post on Sunday, June 2, Tugonon uploaded photos showing off her baby bump.

"Exciting times, new goals set and new season in life ahead. Swipe ⬅️ hehehe. 😆😛 🇫🇷🇵🇭 baby girl en route. 😝😁😋 #letsdothis 💪 #firsttimemom #thisisgonnabefun," Tugonon captioned her post.



In the comment section, fellow beauty queens including Miss Universe 2015 Pia Wurtzbach, Rabiya Mateo, Shamcey Supsup, and Lara Quigaman congratulated Tugonon for her newest milestone.

Earlier, Tugonon bonded with her pageant sisters Ariella Arida and MJ Lastimosa in the Philippines.

After her stint in Miss Universe, Tugonon decided to move to the United States where she works as a model.

She is currently in Bangkok, Thailand.
