Star Magic artists score nods at 15th Gawad Buhay! Awards

Awards, which honor outstanding performances in Philippine theater.</p><p>The list of nominees was announced over the weekend by Philstage, an organization of performing arts companies in the Philippines, through its official Facebook page.</p><p>Ramirez was nominated for Outstanding Female Lead Performance in a Musical for her role in &quot;Little Shop of Horrors,&quot; while Navato and former &quot;Pinoy Big Brother&quot; housemate Benedix Ramos earned nominations for Outstanding Male Lead Performance in a Musical for &quot;One More Chance&quot; and &quot;Bar Boys,&quot; respectively.</p><div><iframe src="https://www.facebook.com/plugins/post.php?href=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.facebook.com%2Flovephilstage%2Fposts%2Fpfbid02JdTXsK8JUEc4pR7UcSdRkegkevH56JHGTS41sqX9uVBdsG8WEXCLzBqBNiHXgxfcl&amp;show_text=true&amp;width=500" width="500" height="729" style="border:none;overflow:hidden" scrolling="no" frameBorder="0" allowfullscreen=""></iframe></div><p>Belarmino and fellow Star Magic talent Lance Reblando were both nominated in the Oustanding Female Featured Performance in a Musical category for &quot;One More Chance&quot; and &quot;Rent,&quot; respectively.</p><p>Meanwhile, Omar Uddin, also a Star Magic artist, was nominated for Outstanding Male Featured Performance in a Musical for &quot;Bar Boys.&quot;</p><p>The nominations were determined by  a 20-person independent jury of theater reviewers, academics, journalists and practitioners, according to Philstage. These nominations were drawn from a pool of 143 citations given to 15 eligible productions that opened from January 1 to December 31, 2024. </p><p>The award ceremonies will be held at the Aliw Theater on July 30.</p>
