Keala Settle to stage one-night concert this July

<p>MANILA -- Broadway and Hollywood star Keala Settle is set to headline a one-night-only concert this July.</p><p>Titled “This Is Me, An Evening with Keala Settle,&quot; the music event will happen on July 11  at 7:30 p.m. at the Samsung Performing Arts Theater in Circuit Makati in celebration of the venue’s anniversary.</p><p>Ticketing details will be announced soon and will be available exclusively at TicketWorld.</p><div><br/></div><div><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/1750301158702KV_This is Me.jpg" class="fr-fic fr-dib" style="width:950px"/></div><div><br/></div><p>In the concert, Settle, who appeared in &quot;The Greatest Showman&quot; and &quot;Waitress,&quot; will offer &quot;an intimate look into her own story — one shaped by resilience, transformation, and the journey to becoming. It’s a personal manifesto and an invitation to the Filipino audience to embrace identity, defy limitations, and find strength in vulnerability. In many ways, it’s a narrative that mirrors the heart of the Filipino spirit.&quot;</p><p>Settle will be backed by an orchestra and will be joined by back-up vocalists Jillian Itaas and Jep Go. The event will also feature a special appearance by Broadway star Arielle Jacobs of &quot;Aladdin.&quot; </p><p>The concert will bring together powerful Broadway numbers, moving original compositions, and reimagined pop anthems — all brought to life through immersive visuals and theatrical design.</p><p>It will be directed by Mikko Angeles, with musical direction by Farley Asuncion, choreography by JM Cabling, set design by Ohm David, lighting design by Meliton Roxas, and visual projections by Joyce Garcia. The event is part of the Bespoke Experiences curated by Ayala Land Estates.</p>
