Handout</span></span></span></div><p>There&#x27;s an ongoing exhibit at the National Museum in Manila, and it&#x27;s a fun way to introduce your kids to art. </p><p>&quot;CANVAS: 20 Years of Art and Stories&quot; features a collection of works by more than 40 of the country&#x27;s most acclaimed artists. Think BenCab, Daniel dela Cruz, Renato Barja, Leeroy New, and Elmer Borlongan, to name a few.</p><p>The exhibit celebrates the 20th anniversary of CANVAS, or the Center for Art, New Ventures, and Sustainable Development -- a non-profit organization that works with the creative community to promote children&#x27;s literacy and encourage an appreciation for Philippine art and culture.</p><p>Kids can step into the different themed sections through playful archways, create their postcards with the stamp sections, try a spinning roulette, match cause-and-effect scenarios, relax on cozy mats, and take selfies on inspirational mirrors.</p><div><span class="fr-img-caption fr-fic fr-dib" style="width:960px"><span class="fr-img-wrap"><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/1751357992122“I Am the Change in Climate Change” is an interactive section that brings the environment into the conversation.jpg" style="width:960px" class="fr-fic fr-dib" alt="Some of the interactive sections of the exhibit. Handout </span></span></span></div><p>They can also try the built-in slide in the activity area, read books published by CANVAS, join storytelling and art appreciation sessions, and learn more about things like upcycling and poetry writing. </p><p>For parents, there will be talks on topics such as explaining Martial Law to children, and ensuring Internet safety for the family. </p><p>&quot;CANVAS: 20 Years of Art and Stories&quot; runs at the fourth floor at Galleries 25 and 26 of the National Museum of Fine Arts until June 2026.
