MANILA — Actress Agot Isidro turned to social media to explain the reason why "Dagitab" shows were cancelled over the weekend.

In her Instagram post on Sunday night, Isidro started her post by saying that actors are human being and has limits.

The actress shared that last Saturday, she blanked out on stage during their last run after her "brain shut down."

"Actors are human beings.  And like all humans, may hangganan ang kaya ng katawan. Last night, at our last run, I stopped midway through a line. My brain shut down. I couldn’t remember a word. Not a word. I walked out and threw my arms around Jojit who was waiting for his cue backstage," she said.

"I couldn’t understand what just happened. The previous run wasn’t all good too. I struggled through the last scenes. The very thing that every actor dreaded was happening to me," Isidro added.

'WORKAHOLIC'

Isidro believes that it was because of extreme fatigue, saying that she has been working nonstop and is currently moving to a new house.

Isidro stressed "it's not an excuse" and admitted that she overestimated her capacity to work.

"I just overestimated my capacity as a workaholic, as nearing senior citizen, and as someone who takes the job too seriously. Nilalaban ng katawan ko, pero nag-decide na yung utak ko na tigil na," she added.

She continued by expressing her gratitude to her Dagitab family for being supportive and for making her well-being a priority.

"Para sa mahal Kong Dagitab family (front and back), you were the best support system any artist could ask for. I’m sure it wasn’t easy for you to see this crumbling ashen ruined thing right before your eyes. I love you for looking out for me."

She then apologized to the audience after she was not able to finish her performance for the show, particularly last Saturday, July 12, when mid-performance was cut.

"Para sa audience, I apologize. I apologize for leaving you hanging. I apologize that you didn’t get to see our work. Work that we are utterly proud of, work we enjoy doing, work that we are in love with," Isidro said.

She then assured everyone that she and Dagitab will be back.
