The airline is offering the beloved staple as part of its seasonal menu, giving passengers a taste of home at 30,000 feet.“Rainy days bring a different kind of travel experience. It offers an opportunity to provide even more comfort to our guests through something as simple as food,” said Capt. Suresh Bangah, AirAsia Philippines CEO and president. “Our inflight menu is constantly evolving and staying inclusive, and with every warm dish like beef sinigang, we’re finding new ways to bring the feeling closer to home.”Also joining the Q3 menu lineup are two new drinks inspired by Filipino desserts: Buko Pandan Milk and Buko Pandan Latte. The milk version offers a creamy and refreshing blend of young coconut and aromatic pandan, while the latte infuses a mild coffee kick. Both are priced at P170.AirAsia said its Santan inflight meals are updated quarterly to reflect regional tastes and seasonal favorites, while ensuring that all dishes remain Halal-certified to cater to the diverse dietary needs of its passengers.
