Handout</div>MANILA — Ayala Malls is expanding TriNoma with a new retail and office wing that will directly connect to the Unified Grand Central Station, strengthening the mall’s role as a major commercial and transit hub in northern Metro Manila.Called The Exchange at Trinoma, the 40,000-square-meter development is scheduled to open later this year and will feature retail spaces, offices, parking facilities and a transit terminal.The expansion comes as the Unified Grand Central Station and the MRT-7 project continue toward completion by 2027, a development expected to increase commuter traffic and business activity in the area.<div><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/1779093088928The Exchange at Trinoma 1 (Artist&#x27;s Rendering).jpg" style="width:960px" class="fr-fic fr-dib" width="960"/>Artist&#x27;s rendering of The Exchange at Trinoma. Handout</div>Once completed, Trinoma will be linked directly to the MRT-3, MRT-7 and LRT-1 lines, as well as bus terminals, UV Express routes and point-to-point transport services.“Trinoma’s expansion reflects strong, sustained demand from both retailers and consumers in Quezon City,” Ayala Malls Chief Operating Officer Paul Birkett said in a statement.According to the company, The Exchange at Trinoma will include about 12,000 square meters of retail space and 4,000 square meters of office space. Handout</div>Ahead of the expansion’s opening, Ayala Malls also completed several upgrades within Trinoma, including improvements to its activity center, garden areas and dining spaces.New and upcoming food tenants include Chili’s, Cibo, H Proper Coffee Roasters, Little Flour, Pizza Sisters, Burnt Bean and Key Coffee.The company said the improvements are intended to support events, retail activity and daily commuter traffic as the area continues to grow into a major transport and commercial corridor.
