Whether stars embrace timeless elegance or push the boundaries with daring outfits, each look is equally as special and tailored to perfection, all thanks to the visionary talent of the fashion designers who bring them to life.</p><p>As we anticipate this year’s red carpet of stars in their <a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/lifestyle/fashion/2025/3/24/spring-formal-abs-cbn-ball-dress-code-women-men-guide-1336" rel="noopener noreferrer" target="_blank"><strong>Spring Formal</strong></a> best, <strong>Metro.Style </strong>brings you insider info from the designers who will dress the biggest stars at the Ball. I wanted my muses to feel their best during the night, and just be able to express themselves through our collaborative journey and have fun. Known for his stunning, ethereal creations, we look forward to seeing the likes of <strong>Barbie Imperial</strong> wearing one of the designer’s looks this year.</p><div><span class="fr-img-caption fr-fic fr-dib"><span class="fr-img-wrap"><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/1743394957034Screen Shot 2025-03-31 at 11.59.16 AM.png" class="fr-fic fr-dib"/><span class="fr-inner">Jot Losa</span></span></span></div><p>For Jot Losa, each look was tailored especially for its wearer, not just in shape or size, but also in intention. Starting with rising star <strong>Kai Montinola</strong>, the designer has created a look that embraces the actress’ “youthful elegance”, embodied in a design that features “a structured corset top that transitions into an ethereal cascade of delicate tulle ruffles”. Inspired by the beauty of hydrangeas, Kai’s look—through Jot’s words alone—is a rich vision of colors and textures, with a “breathtaking gradient of pink hues, seamlessly blending from soft pastels to richer tones, adding depth, movement, and a dreamy, romantic touch that perfectly complements her grace and charm.”</p><div><br/></div><p>The designer is also dressing <strong>Sharon Cuneta,</strong> whose request for the Ball is a look that is “simple yet sophisticated—a striking departure from the elaborate gowns she typically wears for her concerts.” Thus, Jot’s takes on a different route for Sharon, opting for “a sleek design in a stunning nude shade, embracing understated elegance with clean lines and refined details that exude timeless grace.”</p><div><br/></div><p><strong>Ara Davao</strong> is another client of Jot for this year’s Ball. Her look—envisioned in collaboration with stylist <strong>MJ Benitez</strong>—is hinted to be “effortlessly chic and elegantly refined”. With a deep V neckline and a low back, expect to see Ara in a silhouette that “beautifully accentuates her poise and natural allure”, as described by the designer.</p><div><br/></div><p>Lastly, Jot is also dressing <strong>Kyle Echarri</strong>. With <strong>Maris Racal</strong> set to stun in one of her looks, the designer’s ethos is to “highlight the celebrity” by keeping it understated yet nonetheless elegant. “For this year&#x27;s ABS-CBN Ball, expect a very subtle Hollywood red carpet glam.
