Photos from artists&#x27; Instagram accounts"/><span class="fr-inner" style="text-align:left">(From left) Kim Myung-soo and Choi Bo-min. <em>Photos from artists&#x27; Instagram accounts</em></span></span></span></div><p>South Korean stars Kim Myung-soo and Choi Bo-min are heading to the Philippines in December as part of a campaign to promote the country as a tourism spot during the winter, Tourism Promotions Board (TPB) said Monday.</p><p>In a statement, the TPB announced an initiative to promote the country as a winter destination, targeting South Koreans seeking sunshine while their home country experiences the cold season.</p><p>The campaign features a golf and wellness tour package, and seeks to maintain strong tourist arrivals from South Korea — the Philippines&#x27; top source market — by highlighting activities that align with Korean travelers&#x27; preferences for active, nature-based, and wellness-focused experiences.</p><p>As part of the campaign, K-pop idols-turned-K-drama stars Myung-soo and Bo-min, both signed with Universal Records Philippines, will visit the country to experience the attractions firsthand.</p><p>&quot;Through these campaigns, we’re showing that the Philippines can be a winter destination that feels both familiar and new to Korean travelers,&quot; said TPB chief operating officer Maria Margarita Montemayor Nograles.</p><p>Myung-soo, also known by the stage name L, rose to fame as a member of the K-pop boy group Infinite, known for hits such as &quot;BTD (Before the Dawn),&quot; &quot;Be Mine&quot; and &quot;The Chaser.&quot;</p><p>Myung-soo, who commands 3.5 million Instagram followers, has also gained popularity as an actor, starring in dramas such as &quot;Ms. Hammurabi,&quot; &quot;Royal Secret Agent&quot; and &quot;Numbers.&quot;</p><div><a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/2024/11/12/kim-myung-soo-expect-more-visits-projects-in-ph-1557"><strong>Kim Myung-soo: Expect more visits, projects in PH<br/></strong></a></div><p>Meanwhile, Bo-min also began his career in K-pop, debuting in 2017 with the group <a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/entertainment/08/28/21/k-pop-group-golden-child-continues-to-aim-higher"><strong>Golden Child</strong></a>, which was also created by the same label that formed Infinite.
