<div><span class="fr-img-caption fr-fic fr-dib" style="width:960px;display:block" width="960"><span class="fr-img-wrap"><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/177330345574220230312 (5).jpg" style="width:960px;display:block;height:auto" class="fr-fic fr-dib" width="960"/><span class="fr-inner" style="text-align:left"><em>Restaurant Celera/Instagram</em></span></span></span></div><p>Barely a year after opening its doors, Manila restaurant Celera has landed on the Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants 51–100 list for the first time at No. 100.</p><p>The recognition comes just a month after the restaurant marked its first anniversary and five months after earning its first star from the inaugural Michelin Guide in October 2025, capping a milestone-filled first year for the young fine-dining establishment co-helmed by chefs Nicco Santos and Quenee Vilar.</p><p>Known for its contemporary approach to fine dining, Celera, located at the Comuna compound in Makati, has quickly gained attention from both diners and critics, positioning itself as one of Manila’s emerging culinary destinations.</p><p>“Celera is a contemporary Asian restaurant where we cook with instinct, curiosity, and a deep respect for Filipino ingenuity and culture,” said Santos. </p><p>“It’s both adventurous and familiar,” added Vilar. “Adventurous because we love bold flavors and enjoy layering different elements in our dishes, but at the same time we want to create a connection with people. The extended 51–100 ranking highlights restaurants that have earned strong support from voters but fall just outside the main 50 best restaurants list.</p><p>Celera’s debut on the extended list places it among a group of rising restaurants across Asia gaining international recognition. It also joins the Philippines’ own Toyo Eatery, which has consistently appeared on the Asia’s 50 Best Restaurants list since 2018 and landed at No. 71 this year.</p><p>For Celera, a restaurant just a year into its journey, the milestone signals growing momentum not only for the restaurant itself but also for Manila’s evolving fine-dining scene.</p><p>Celera’s entry into the 51–100 list reflects a broader moment for the city’s culinary landscape, as more Filipino-led restaurants continue to gain recognition on the international stage.</p><p>“We’re incredibly grateful for the recognition,” the team behind Celera shared. “It means a lot for the team who show up every day.
