Photos from the resorts&#x27; Facebook pages</div>MANILA — Five more hotels in the Philippines have been added to the Michelin Guide’s list of recommended properties, raising the country’s total to 25 since its hotel selections first included the Philippines in 2024.Among the newly recognized properties is Manami Resort, an 18-villa luxury retreat in Sipalay City, Negros Occidental. Tucked between a wooded hillside and the Sulu Sea, the resort features bamboo-and-timber villas, a hilltop spa, and a restaurant serving Negrense cuisine with Spanish influences.Also joining the guide is Maremegmeg Beach Club in El Nido, Palawan. Located along Maremegmeg Beach, the 12-room property is known for its ocean-facing accommodations, infinity pool, and beachfront dining.In Boracay, Crimson Resort and Spa Boracay was recognized for its beachfront setting in Station Zero, private white sand beach, ocean-facing pools, and multiple dining concepts catering to both families and couples.Meanwhile, Nawa Wellness in Calatagan, Batangas, earned a spot for its wellness-focused concept rooted in hilot, the traditional Filipino healing practice. The resort offers spa treatments, wellness programs, and accommodations inspired by Filipino heritage design.Rounding out the list is Anya Resort Tagaytay, a garden resort overlooking Tagaytay’s cooler highland landscape. The property was cited for its spacious suites, locally inspired architecture, wellness offerings, and dining led by chef Chele Gonzalez.The five hotels join previously recognized Philippine properties, including Amanpulo, The Peninsula Manila, Shangri-La The Fort, Raffles Makati, and The Lind Boracay, among others.Best known for its restaurant star ratings, the Michelin Guide has also recognized hotels for more than a century, highlighting properties distinguished by design, service, character, and overall guest experience.
