Together with the huge number of guests at the park, we tried HKDL&#x27;s fresh lineup of activities.</p><p>Beyond the great weather that added to the summer energy, the friendly and sweet welcome from the HKDL staff, performers, and characters made the event an enjoyable one, especially for first-time visitors like me. </p><p>True to its tagline, my experience in HKDL was a magical one as I was transported to a different world, one that touched my childlike heart.  </p><div><br/></div><div><strong>Pixar decor, shows, attractions</strong></div><p>Upon entering HKDL, you will immediately notice that the park has been decorated with banners featuring Pixar&#x27;s characters including Incredibles, Edna Mode, Merida, WALL-E, Mater, Lightning McQueen, and more.</p><p>A giant Luxo Jr. lamp and a Pixar ball have also been installed at Town Square on Main Street, with the latter displaying different Pixar graphics.</p><div class="twitter-tweet twitter-tweet-rendered" It illuminates the sky and features a shimmering fountains dance, projections, and glowing drones.</p><p>During the show, which celebrates friendship and the power of Pixar stories, different characters are beamed onto the Castle of Magical Dreams using 3D projection mapping technology. After the drawing session, you can head next door to &quot;meet&quot; and pose with the character you made. </p><p>In our case, we got to recreate Rex from Pixar&#x27;s &quot;Toy Story.&quot; It was an immersive experience that both kids and kids at heart will love.</p><p>Speaking of meeting, the HKDL experience won&#x27;t be complete without encountering some of its beloved characters. </p><p>This summer, Pixar characters are also making their appearance: &quot;Inside Out,&quot; &quot;The Incredibles,&quot; and &quot;Up&quot; stars at Tomorrowland Station; the &quot;Toy Story&quot; crew at the Opera House and Toy Story Land; Mei from &quot;Turning Red&quot; along the Upper Parade route; and Miguel from &quot;Coco&quot; and Merida from &quot;Brave&quot; at Adventureland.</p><div><br/></div><div><strong>Pixar-themed dining, merchandise</strong></div><p>When it comes to filling your tummies while exploring the park, there&#x27;s a lot of Pixar-inspired food and drinks to enjoy.</p><p>Main Street Corner Cafe offers a playful dining experience with interactive offerings, including Make your own Alien Pizza and the Slinky Dog Spiral Roll.</p><p>Pixar-themed snacks are sold all over the park, such as the Mei Turning Red Corn Dog, Remy&#x27;s Ratatouille Chicken Salad Wrap at Fantasyland, and the Up! Egg Puff at Adventureland.</p><p>Because its summer, frozen delights is a must.
