<p>From a month-long seafood celebration to new takes on chicken, pizza and Filipino-inspired ice cream, restaurants and food brands are serving up plenty of new offerings and experiences this August.</p><div><br/></div><div><strong>Araneta City dives into seafood</strong></div><div><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/1786844575265Araneta City Seafood Festival.jpg" style="width:650px" class="fr-fic fr-dib"/></div><p>Araneta City is holding its first-ever Araneta City Seafood Festival, a month-long celebration highlighting the country&#x27;s seafood heritage while promoting conversations around sustainability, food security and culinary culture.</p><p>The festival brings together Araneta Group companies and participating tenants, including Farmers Market, Seafood 8 by Olio&#x27;s at Gateway Mall 2 and restaurants offering seafood specialties.</p><p>Among the highlights is the Farmers Market Culinary Showdown: Seafood Edition on August 22, where chefs and culinary students will compete in seafood-focused challenges centered on responsible sourcing.</p><p>Other activities include Pizza Hut&#x27;s Shrimp Supreme Pizza, available at Araneta City branches starting August 4; Sea-nema: A Reel Catch at Gateway Cineplex 18 beginning August 17; an Omakase Wine Dinner featuring Japanese chef Masaki Watanabe at World Cellar on August 20; and seafood-focused dining events at Le Bistro and Food Exchange Manila.</p><p>Throughout August, participating restaurants will also offer seafood-themed dishes, discounts and promotions under Hunt the SEA-ty.</p><div><br/></div><div><strong>Andok&#x27;s adds chicken to its barbecue sticks</strong></div><div><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/1786844531025Andok&#x27;s Dokitori Landscape Poster.jpg" style="width:650px" class="fr-fic fr-dib"/></div><p>Andok&#x27;s has launched Dokitori, an 80-gram Super Chicken BBQ Stick designed for quick, individual meals.</p><p>Priced at P65 per stick, Dokitori features Filipino-style chicken barbecue with a smoky marinade, savory-sweet glaze and lightly caramelized edges. It can also be ordered as a boxed rice meal.</p><p>The new offering joins Andok&#x27;s existing Pork Kasim and Liempo BBQ sticks, as well as newer menu items such as Dokibab, Shrimpura and Chicken Alá Bone.</p><p>To mark its nationwide rollout, Andok&#x27;s is offering a Buy 1, Take 1 promotion on Aug. 15, available in stores and through GrabFood, foodpanda and Andok&#x27;s delivery.</p><div><br/></div><div><strong>Ribshack opens flagship in Malolos</strong></div><div><span class="fr-img-caption fr-fic fr-dib" style="width:650px;display:block"><span class="fr-img-wrap"><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/1786844451482ribshack-unveils-first-flagship-store-in-tikay-malolos-bulacan-001.jpg" style="width:650px" class="fr-fic fr-dib"/><span class="fr-inner"><em>Handout</em></span></span></span></div><p>Fast-casual grill brand Ribshack has opened its first flagship store on McArthur Highway in Tikay, Malolos City, Bulacan.</p><p>The branch, which opened July 25, is the brand&#x27;s 61st nationwide and features a café component from Primaroma, offering specialty coffee, blended drinks, cheesecakes and cookies alongside Ribshack&#x27;s grilled dishes.</p><p>The menu includes Pork Spareribs, Pork Back Ribs, Pork BBQ and Bacolod Chicken Inasal, all served with unlimited rice. The restaurant is open daily from 6 a.m. to midnight.</p><div><br/></div><div><strong>Jollibee turns up the heat</strong></div><div><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/1786844370262Jollibee wants Filipinos to taste the thrill of spice.jpg" style="width:650px" class="fr-fic fr-dib"/></div><p>Jollibee is bringing more spice to its menu with Spicy Chickenjoy, a variation of its signature crispy fried chicken featuring a blend of spices for an added kick.</p><p>The brand said the new offering is intended to highlight spice as another layer of flavor rather than simply a test of heat tolerance.</p><p>Actress and singer Alexa Ilacad fronts the campaign for the new offering, which targets consumers who enjoy bolder flavors.</p><div><br/></div><div><strong>Pizza Hut puts dessert on the pizza</strong></div><div><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/1786844259724Sweet Pizza Collection.jpg" style="width:650px" class="fr-fic fr-dib"/></div><p>Pizza Hut is giving dessert a pizza makeover with its limited-time Sweet Golden Collection, featuring Mango Cheesecake Bliss and Golden Turon Pizza.</p><p>Mango Cheesecake Bliss combines mangoes, cheesecake cubes, cream cheese, sour cream, mozzarella and marshmallows on Pizza Hut&#x27;s Mega Crunch crust.</p><p>Golden Turon Pizza takes inspiration from the Filipino merienda favorite, combining caramelized banana, langka, marshmallows and mozzarella, finished with powdered sugar and crispy thin-crust strips.</p><p>Both are priced at P299 each and are available for a limited time at Pizza Hut stores for dine-in and takeout, as well as through its delivery channels.</p><div><br/></div><div><strong>Dairy Queen celebrates Buwan ng Wika with Filipino flavors</strong></div><div><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/1786844304404DQ Sorbetes Fiesta Banner.png" style="width:650px" class="fr-fic fr-dib"/></div><p>Dairy Queen is marking Buwan ng Wika with its limited-edition Sorbetes Fiesta collection, inspired by familiar Filipino flavors.</p><p>The lineup includes Ube-st Graham, combining soft serve with ube halaya and graham pieces; Klasik Quezo, featuring cheese sauce and shredded cheese; and Avocashew, made with avocado puree and cashew nuts.</p><p>The three flavors are available at participating Dairy Queen stores for dine-in, takeout and delivery through GrabFood, foodpanda and Pickaroo.</p>
