The 2026 edition recognizes 307 establishments, including 45 Michelin-starred restaurants, 97 Bib Gourmand establishments and 165 Michelin Selected restaurants.Hayop, which opened on Amoy Street in July 2024, was first added to the Michelin Guide Singapore selection in November 2025. Michelin describes the restaurant as serving modern Filipino fare in a wood-rich space with a subtle maritime theme inspired by the country&#x27;s fishing industry.Among the dishes highlighted by Michelin is Hayop&#x27;s Wagyu and watermelon sinigang, which features a tangy broth and fall-off-the-bone braised beef short ribs. The guide also recommends the restaurant&#x27;s lechon de leche, which must be pre-ordered 48 hours in advance, as well as its Asian-inspired fruity cocktails.Hayop said in an Instagram post that being selected for the 2026 guide was &quot;truly an honor,&quot; dedicating the recognition to its team and thanking its patrons.&quot;Filipino cuisine is rooted in warmth and bringing people together over a meal, and we&#x27;re so grateful for the opportunity to share our take on it,&quot; the restaurant said.Hayop is part of The Moment Group, the Philippine food and beverage company behind Filipino restaurant Manam, 8Cuts Burgers, and Ooma, among other brands. The group also operates the Philippine franchise of Taiwanese restaurant chain Din Tai Fung. Its Manam at the Triangle flagship in Makati received a Bib Gourmand distinction in the inaugural Michelin Guide Manila and Environs-Cebu selection.The Michelin Selected designation is distinct from a Michelin Star and Bib Gourmand. According to Michelin, restaurants in the category have met its inspectors&#x27; criteria and provide a quality dining experience but do not yet qualify for a Star or Bib Gourmand.
