<div><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/1788521654913viber_image_2026-09-04_19-15-17-792.jpg" style="width: 960px; display: block; height: auto;" class="fr-fic fr-dib" width="960">ABS-CBN News</div>MANILA &mdash; Travelers looking for their next getaway can score exclusive discounts and discover more destinations across the Philippines as the 37th Philippine Travel Mart, organized by PHILTOA, kicks off its three-day run from September 4 to 6 at the SMX Convention Center.&ldquo;We have a lot, all travel related offerings&hellip; everything you need for travel and vacation it is in there,&rdquo; PHILTOA president Maria Lourdes Japson said in an interview held in Pasay City, Friday.This year&rsquo;s edition with the theme &ldquo;Nurturing the Next Gen Tourism: Discover Your Philippines&rdquo; features over 300 booths from the country&rsquo;s 17 regions as well as BARMM.&ldquo;We made it like a journey and a sequential theme because we want to portray a message that PTM is into innovation and continuing development of Philippine Tourism,&rdquo; Japson explained.&ldquo;If you notice the booths are designed in accordance to our four pillars, sustainability and inclusivity and health and wellness. Those are the pillars that guided us in shaping the next gen tourism. After the pandemic the face of tourism has changed, attitude of travelers have changed, we need to adapt,&rdquo; she added.According to Tourism Secretary Dita Angara-Mathay, the Philippine Travel Mart is aligned with the Department of Tourism&rsquo;s goal of promoting more destinations across the country, especially Mindanao.&ldquo;We want to be strong in promoting Mindanao. Mindanao is a paradise, an untouched hem &mdash; and hopefully it will remain so. We hope more tourists will discover. We have to open the world to the beauty of Mindanao,&rdquo; she said.
