I can see so many friends from the Philippines, and I want to also explore more opportunities in the future and I want to make fun content here, and I hope the Filipinos will love it.”Somrutai, who rose to global popularity as an internet sensation and luxury fashion figure, reflected on her journey over the past three to four years. “First, I think the people really loved my content. I don’t know what to say. I can see from the very first day that I made content… I saw the love that Filipinos have from the comments. Everyday I post the videos, and I always see the comments from the Filipinos. They say things like, ‘Cute,’ ‘You are my inspiration’... something like that.”Asked what convinced her to accept the invitation to visit, she explained: “[Because] in the future, I want to come [here] more often…”Now a mother, Somrutai also shared how parenthood has shaped her outlook. “For me, being a mom… I feel like I’m growing, like I’m more calm. I used to shop for myself but now I shop for my baby boy and me.”Her visit marks a new chapter in her career as she seeks to expand her creative footprint in the Philippines, blending her global fashion influence with local collaborations and content creation.
