He posted a simple question on social media: “What are the things you wanted to say but never did?”The post drew an outpouring of vulnerable confessions and eventually became one of Concepcion’s best-known projects.“What excited me about this collaboration was the opportunity to bring my handwritten notes outside the pages of my journals and photographs, and into people&#x27;s everyday lives,” Concepcion said. “UNIQLO&#x27;s LifeWear philosophy felt like a natural fit with my project because it&#x27;s about everyday clothing that people genuinely live in. This collaboration simply adds another layer of personal meaning to those pieces.”For “Notes to Self,” UNIQLO and Concepcion selected five affirmations, rendered in the artist’s handwritten style:“I hope you choose your own happiness”“I’ve got too much love for one life”“Learn to take up space and be louder”“Don’t let the hard days win”“Dream a little more, my friend”<div><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/17866975775561A. UNIQLO Philippines collaborates with artist Geloy Concepcion on _Notes to Self_.png" style="width:960px" class="fr-fic fr-dib" width="960"/>Handout</div>Customers can have the affirmations embroidered onto selected LifeWear pieces at RE.UNIQLO Studio, turning everyday wardrobe staples into personalized pieces of self-expression.The service is available at the UNIQLO Manila Global Flagship Store, SM Mall of Asia, BGC High Street, Ayala Center Cebu and Davao Roadside Store.Among the LifeWear pieces available for customization are selections from UNIQLO’s 2026 Fall/Winter jeans collection, including the Baggy Barrel Leg Jeans, Baggy Jeans, Women’s EZY Wide Straight Jeans and EZY Jeans.The collection combines classic denim styles with updated silhouettes and comfort-focused designs, offering customers different options to personalize with the “Notes to Self” embroidery.
