Actress-dancer Ella Cruz has taken on a new role — Pilates instructor.In the latest vlog of Luis Manzano, Cruz said she opened her own Pilates studio after discovering the workout and finding there was no studio near her home.&quot;Kasi noong pandemic nagyo-yoga ako. Tapos nag-lift ako ng weights after pandemic. Tapos hindi ako pumapayat talaga, lalo lang akong nagba-bulk, lumalaki lang. Siyempre petite lang ang frame ko, hindi naman maganda na (bulky) ako, hindi ba? Tapos nakita ko may mga Pilates studio, ganyan. Eh sa area namin walang Pilates studio na malapit. Sabi ko maglalagay ako ng Pilates studio. You have to know the body as well. So nag-aral na rin po talaga ako na maging Pilates instructor. So doon ko naintindihan &#x27;yung mga coaches ko which are my employees. Naiintindihan ko na everybody has its own pace,&quot; she said. The actress said that Pilates changed how she looks at life now.&quot;Kaya ngayon ang ganda ng learning ko about life kasi everyday ang dami kong natututunan, bukod sa anatomy but life of one person in general,&quot; she added.As a Pilates instructor, Cruz said she finds it rewarding to see her clients make time and effort to find time for their wellness.&quot;Kapag nagtuturo ako, I&#x27;m just thankful for my client na nabibigyan nila ng oras kahit isang oras lang &#x27;yung sarili nila na wala silang iisipin kung hindi &#x27;yung sarili nila without being guilty about it. Kasi kailangan natin &#x27;yon,&quot; she said.The actress added: &quot;Kasi ang workout, akala natin it&#x27;s just being physically fit pero deep inside it&#x27;s your mental health that you are also taking care of kasi iniisip mo ang sarili mo kasi kailangan natin that pause in this sobrang bilis na life.&quot; Cruz&#x27;s Pilates studio, named Eclissi, now has two branches: one in Quezon City and one in Makati.&quot;Pilates is not all about flexibility. it&#x27;s about mobility para kapag nag-age tayo ay hindi tayo agad kukuba. And of course para rin gumalaw-galaw tayo ng konti,&quot; she said.A former child star, Cruz is known for her roles in TV series such as &quot;Bagito&quot; and &quot;Aryana.&quot;
