Miss Grand International/Facebook</div>Newly crowned Miss Grand International 2025 Emma Tiglao is still in awe after making history with the Philippines’ first-ever back-to-back victory in the international pageant.The Kapampangan beauty shared how her faith guided her through her journey, especially when she was unsure if she should continue her pageant career.“Ibang klase gumawa ng way si Lord na parang dati I was just praying if I’ll continue my chapter in pageantry or I’ll close it— if I’ll go for Miss Universe or other pageants, but here we are!” she said.With a big smile on her face, Tiglao said: “We won Miss Grand! We can host Miss Universe, so sabi ko, &#x27;Grabe Ka, Lord, grabe Ka gumawa ng way Mo.&#x27; As long as you’re patient and you have faith, anything is possible.”She revealed that she will be staying in Thailand for a while following her win.“Nagkaroon kami ng conversation with Mr. Nawat (Itsaragrisil) on what’s going to happen. I’ll stay here for quite some time… I’ll stay here for Miss Universe… maybe I’ll host some minor events for Miss Universe. Grabe!” she said.At 30, Tiglao also spoke about timing and age in pageantry, saying she believes everything happens at the right moment.“‘Yun nga, sabi ko timing. If not now, papabayaan ko pa ba? I’m 30 pero sinasabi ko kay Mr. Nawat I’m just 18. Lagi ko siya niloloko!” she said with a laugh.Tiglao expressed gratitude for the new experiences that come with her reign, especially the chance to see the world.“I’m grateful na rin na I have this experience because this was just a dream to travel the world, and here we are about to travel the world with the Miss Grand organization at no cost,” she said.Above all, Tiglao dedicated her victory to the Filipino people, who rallied behind her from start to finish.“Thank you very much from the very bottom of my heart. Without you guys, this back-to-back victory, this history wouldn’t be possible kaya itong panalong ‘to it’s not just [for] me but for all of us kasi nagtulong-tulong tayo,” she said.“Iba kapag puso ‘yung dala mo sa isang kompetisyon, walang makakatalo doon,” she added.
