Lillian Suwanrumpha, AFP/File  Miss Universe 2025 Fatima Bosch has finally set the record straight amid allegations that her victory was rigged, saying these were a result of a &quot;campaign of hate.&quot;</div>In an exclusive interview with ABC7, the Mexican beauty queen defended her crown, saying she did not win because of her father&#x27;s supposed business ties with Miss Universe Organization president Raul Rocha. Bosch was responding to claims made by French-Lebanese musician Omar Harfouch, who claimed to have stepped down as a member of the Miss Universe jury just days before the grand finals.&quot;They make this campaign of hate,&quot; she said. &quot;My father has nothing to do with the organization.&quot;She added: &quot;It&#x27;s crazy, how are you going to buy a crown? Maybe in Walmart you can buy a crown, yeah. But not in Miss Universe, for sure.&quot; Bosch, who was <a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/lifestyle/pageants-beauty-queens/2025/11/21/mexico-wins-miss-universe-2025-crown-ph-s-ahtisa-manalo-is-3rd-runner-up-1208">crowned in Thailand last November 21</a>, earlier declared on social media that she will <a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/lifestyle/pageants-beauty-queens/2025/11/26/miss-universe-2025-fatima-bosch-reacts-to-hate-comments-i-will-not-back-down-1414">&quot;not back down&quot;</a> despite all the hate she has received.Even before the coronation night, she was the subject of controversy because of her heated exchange with Thai pageant executive Nawat Itsaragrisil, who has <a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/lifestyle/pageants-beauty-queens/2025/11/6/-i-did-not-intend-to-harm-anyone-nawat-itsaragrisil-apologizes-for-miss-universe-controversy-1318">already apologized for his outburst</a>. When asked if she thinks that the Miss Universe crown is her &quot;reward&quot; for speaking out, Bosch replied: &quot;Of course not. I make the same effort that all the pageant [contestants] make.&quot;She went on to deny rumors that she is considering giving up her title.&quot;I will never step away from this crown,&quot; she stressed. &quot;I&#x27;m not here for fame or modeling or searching for a husband. I&#x27;m here because God put a purpose in my heart.&quot;&quot;I have a mission and I will do that all year,&quot; added the beauty queen, who referred to her Miss Universe crowning moment as a &quot;dream come true.&quot;
