<p>A former titleholder of Binibining Pilipinas has passed away. </p><p>On Thursday, January 15, the organization posted a tribute to Sarah Jane Paez Santiago, who represented the Philippines in Miss Universe in 1989.</p><p>She died last January 13 at the age of 57. The cause of her death was not immediately known. </p><p>&quot;We remember and honor the life and legacy of Sarah Jane Paez Santiago, Binibining Universe 1989,&quot; Bb. Pilipinas said on its social media pages.</p><p>&quot;Thank you for the light you shared and the pride you brought to Binibini. You will always be remembered.
