That’s what I want to bring,” Simpson said when asked what kind of legacy she wants people to remember her by. “I want to be known as the Christian queen.”</p><div><a class="fr-strong fr-green" href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/lifestyle/pageants-beauty-queens/2026/2/4/qc-s-bet-asia-rose-simpson-wins-miss-world-philippines-2026-0902">READ: Asia Rose Simpson of QC wins Miss World Philippines 2026</a></div><p>The 18-year-old titleholder acknowledged that faith and pageantry may appear to clash in today’s culture, but said her mission has never been about forcing beliefs on others.</p><p>“It’s never been about pushing a religion,” she explained. “It’s just been about showing the love of Jesus because that’s what it is, it’s unconditional.”</p><p>Simpson said she prefers to live out her faith quietly through her actions, encouragement, and prayer rather than through grand statements onstage.</p><p>“If you always preach from the stage, then people are going to label you,” she said. “So I do it behind the scenes. I pray for the girls.”</p><p>According to Simpson, one of the most meaningful moments during her pageant journey was seeing fellow candidates approach her for prayer.</p><p>“I was actually so ministered to myself in this pageant because the girls came up to me and asked if I could pray for them many different times,” she shared. “That’s the first time that’s ever happened.”</p><p>The beauty queen said she hopes the impact of her reign will go beyond awards, appearances, or titles.</p><p>“People may not even remember your name, but if they remember your actions, how you love people, how you acted around everyone that can impact people for many, many years to come,” she said.</p><p>Faith, Simpson added, has also helped her navigate uncertainty during the competition. At moments when she felt overwhelmed, she leaned on prayer and reminded herself that there was a greater purpose behind the journey.</p><p>“There was a lot of prayer involved,” she said. “It was just like, ‘Lord, you better know what you’re doing. He’s drawn the picture out, but He hasn’t given it to you because He wants you to trust Him,” she said.</p><p>Simpson’s faith also shone through during her crowning moment.
