Carballo/Facebook&nbsp;</span></span></span></div><p>Gabbi Carballo spoke of trusting God&#39;s plan following her recent stint in the Miss Eco International 2026 pageant, where she finished in the Top 21.</p><p>In an Instagram post, the Cebuana beauty queen assured her friends and followers that she is satisfied with her efforts, even if things did not go as planned.</p><p>Carballo was aiming for a back-to-back victory with fellow Filipina Alexie Brooks, who went on to crown <a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/lifestyle/pageants-beauty-queens/2026/5/23/mexico-wins-miss-eco-international-2026-ph-s-gabbi-carballo-finishes-in-top-21-0722">Palmira Ruiz of Mexico</a>.&nbsp;</p><p>&quot;I am okay, guys, and I am so proud that I took the step to compete even when I had no idea what the Lord&#39;s plan was for me. And that is obedience,&quot; she said.&nbsp;</p><p>&quot;Let us choose to celebrate courage, creativity, and strength &mdash; even when things don&#39;t necessarily go our way,&quot; she stressed. &quot;Every action we do is written in our book of life and will be counted towards or against us in the very end.&quot;&nbsp;</p><p>&quot;It&#39;s not about things going our way anyway. His way is better.
