<p>The all-star edition of Miss Grand International has kicked off its preliminary competition, with the Philippines&#x27; representatives competing in an evening gown showcase and a &quot;bare face&quot; segment.</p><p>MGI All Stars&#x27; Preliminary Round 1 was held in Thailand on Wednesday, May 27, and was streamed live on YouTube for audiences worldwide. The event was co-hosted by Filipina beauty queen CJ Opiaza, a former titleholder from the standard MGI pageant. </p><div><span class="fr-img-caption fr-fic fr-dib" style="width:960px;display:block" Stars prelims: Filipino shoe entrepreneur Jojo Bragais, Miss Grand International winners Abena Appiah and Isabella Menin, former Miss Universe queens Natalie Glebova and Lupita Jones, pianist and composer Omar Harfouch, environmental activist Psi Samut Scott, and beauty pageant entrepreneur Osmel Sousa.</p><p>The scores were displayed in real-time, allowing audiences to see how their favorite candidates fared during the competition. </p><p>The Philippines has five delegates in the inaugural MGI All Stars: Miss Universe Philippines 2019 Gazini Ganados, former Miss Philippines Earth Imelda Schweighart, Miss International Queen 2022 Fuschia Ravena, Manila-based Brazilian beauty queen Alexia Nuñez, and Universal Woman Arabia 2025 Keylyn Trajano.</p><p>Below are the scores they got from Stars is open to any woman or trans woman who has joined an international beauty pageant.</p><p>The competition is different from the standard MGI, whose reigning queen is <a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/lifestyle/pageants-beauty-queens/2025/10/18/emma-tiglao-scores-back-to-back-win-for-ph-in-miss-grand-international-2307">the Philippines&#x27; Emma Tiglao.</a></p><p>The second round of the MGI All Stars prelims will be held tonight, May 28, with the coronation set on May 30 in Thailand.</p>
