Miss International to skip swimsuit competition in 2026 edition

But on Instagram Stories, it has shared a post by a pageant website which quoted Diaz.</p><p>This is not the first time that Miss International scrapped the swimsuit segment from its final competition.</p><p>In 2023, it only held a swimsuit round <a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/life/07/24/23/no-more-swimsuit-parade-in-miss-international-pageant">as part of closed-door preliminary evaluations.</a></p><p><a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/lifestyle/2025/6/15/katrina-anne-johnson-wins-binibining-pilipinas-international-2025-crown-0024">Katrina Anne Johnson</a> will represent the Philippines in the 2026 edition of Miss International, which is known for championing the United Nations&#x27; 17 Sustainable Development Goals. </p><p>The country&#x27;s delegate last year, Myrna Esguerra, <a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/lifestyle/pageants-beauty-queens/2025/11/27/colombia-wins-miss-international-2025-ph-s-myrna-esguerra-finishes-as-4th-runner-up-2038">finished as fourth runner-up</a> to Catalina Duque of Colombia.</p><p>The Philippines currently has six Miss International titleholders: Kylie Verzosa (2016), Bea Rose Santiago (2013), Precious Lara Quigaman (2005), Melanie Marquez (1979), Aurora Pijuan (1970), and Gemma Cruz (1964).</p>
