Pilipinas/Facebook </div>Another candidate has backed out of the Binibining Pilipinas 2026 pageant. Organizers confirmed the withdrawal of Ivy Padilla, who represented Misamis Oriental, citing &quot;personal reasons.&quot;&quot;We fully respect her decision and stand in support of her during this time. Out of respect for her privacy, we ask everyone to extend the same understanding and compassion as she navigates this time in her life,&quot; Bb. Pilipinas first announced the withdrawal of one of its candidates, Nicole Sobria of Makati City. <a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/lifestyle/pageants-beauty-queens/2026/4/23/pharmacist-from-caloocan-joins-bb-pilipinas-2026-candidates-1458">Genesis Lanuza Durana of Caloocan</a> went on to take the spot vacated by Sobria.The Bb. Pilipinas 2026 coronation night will be held on July 18 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum in Quezon City. Two titles are up for grabs, based on last year&#x27;s edition. The winners will succeed Bb. Pilipinas International Katrina Anne Johnson and Bb. Pilipinas Globe Annabelle McDonnell.Two runners-up will also be crowned.Now on its 62nd year, Bb. Pilipinas has helped turn the Philippines into a pageant powerhouse.Back when it still held the Miss Universe franchise in the Philippines, it sent winning representatives such as Pia Wurtzbach (2015) and Catriona Gray (2018).Its other notable queens include Miss International 2016 Kylie Verzosa, Miss Supranational 2013 Mutya Datul, and Miss Globe 2021 Maureen Montagne, to name a few.
