The road to the 62nd Binibining Pilipinas grand coronation night officially kicked off at Araneta City with the opening of the Binibining Pilipinas 2026 Glamshot Photo Exhibit at the Quantum Skyview in Gateway Mall 2 on Monday, June 29.The annual exhibit features seven-foot glam portraits of this year&#x27;s Binibining Pilipinas candidates, photographed by official lensmen Raymond Saldaña and Owen Reyes, highlighting the beauty, elegance, and individuality of the 2026 batch. Also on display is a special gallery honoring the Best in Evening Gown winners from the past decade, including iconic coronation ensembles worn by Catriona Gray in 2018 and Gabrielle Camille Basiano in 2021 and 2022.<div><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/1782774801693a0875126-c7f8-4ca1-969f-3362351b2aee.jpg" style="width:960px" class="fr-fic fr-dib" width="960"/>ABS-CBN News</div>The exhibit was formally opened through a ceremonial ribbon-cutting led by Binibining Pilipinas International 2025 Katrina Anne Johnson.Candidates shared that preparations are now intensifying as they gear up for the remaining pre-pageant events, particularly the National Costume Competition on July 2.Representing Tarlac Province, Sasha-Juli Belle Penuliar Lacuna said she continues to focus on maintaining her physical and mental well-being through training, running, journaling, meditation, and Q&amp;A practice. “Of course, tuloy-tuloy pa rin po ang pagdi-diet. I have to fuel myself up for the remaining events,” Lacuna said. “We’re training well… training, running, keeping up with my physical health… I journal every day, meditate. I have some time for myself before I show up for my events.”She also teased that her upcoming national costume will be &quot;brighter, bigger, and way better&quot; than her previous pageant attire, expressing confidence that it will proudly showcase Tarlac on the national stage.<div><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/1782774816417fe41e78c-f874-421e-9b30-115f68a1a592.jpg" style="width:960px" class="fr-fic fr-dib" width="960"/>ABS-CBN News</div>Meanwhile, Ilocos Sur&#x27;s Julie Mae Panaga Villanueva said contestants are putting the finishing touches on their elaborate national costumes, promising fresh and eye-catching designs for the competition.“We are preparing ourselves kasi for sure our costume malaki, maganda, at of course something like bago sa paningin ng iba,” Villanueva expressed.“Ang mga photos namin ngayon is for our photo exhibit na ipapakita sa mga tao to promote Binibining Pilipinas candidates,” she added, encouraging the public to visit the exhibit.The 2026 Binibining Pilipinas Glamshot Photo Exhibit will run at Gateway Mall 2 until July 4, while the much-awaited coronation night of the 62nd Binibining Pilipinas pageant is set for July 18 at the Smart Araneta Coliseum.
