The presentation of the inaugural batch of Reina Filipinas candidates has been postponed due to the <a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/news/weather-traffic/2026/7/6/wind-signals-possible-as-early-as-tuesday-as-super-typhoon-bavi-looms-1228">approaching typhoon</a>.&quot;Safety comes first,&quot; organizers stressed in a statement released on the pageant&#x27;s Facebook pages on Monday, July 6. The event, dubbed &quot;The Grand Reveal,&quot; was originally scheduled on July 8 at Aquila Crystal Palace in the Sky in Cavite. It has now been moved to July 13, and will be streamed live on the Bragais TV YouTube channel.&quot;We look forward to welcoming you as we officially introduce the inaugural Reina Filipinas 2026 candidates on our new date,&quot; Reina Filipinas said.<div><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/1783325644590739295031_122112211809359619_3345874328084381662_n (1).jpg" style="width:650px" class="fr-fic fr-dib"/></div>The newly formed Reina Filipinas will select one Philippine representative for Miss Grand International and two delegates for MGI All Stars.Shoe entrepreneur Jojo Bragais, who has been a footwear sponsor for multiple international pageants and was one of the judges of the inaugural MGI All Stars, leads the organization as its president. Reigning MGI Emma Tiglao, meanwhile, is its <a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/lifestyle/pageants-beauty-queens/2026/6/15/-full-circle-for-emma-tiglao-as-she-joins-reina-filipinas-as-national-director-1329">national director</a>.
