After all the defeats, the challenges, and everything that comes with preparing for a competition like this, I honestly thought, &#x27;Maybe this is it for me,&#x27;&quot; she admitted.&quot;Until one day, I received a call from the franchise owner of Reina Filipinas Palawan, and somehow a door I thought was already closed opened again,&quot; she continued. &quot;Maybe some things don&#x27;t happen when we want them to because God is simply redirecting us to where we&#x27;re meant to be.&quot;Lopez represented the Philippines in Miss International 2024, but <a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/lifestyle/2024/11/12/ph-bet-angelica-lopez-fails-to-make-first-cut-of-miss-international-2024-1825">failed to make the first cut of the competition</a>. Stepping out of pageantry, she then entered the corporate world and tried different ways to make ends meet. According to the beauty queen, these experiences made her &quot;resilient, resourceful, and more determined.&quot;Looking back, Lopez said: &quot;And maybe that&#x27;s exactly what I needed because I didn&#x27;t come back as the same girl who left.
