Angelica Lopez, Alexie Brooks, and Anne Diaz emerge as inaugural Reina Filipinas titleholders

<p>History was made on Friday night, August 7, as Reina Filipinas crowned their first batch of titleholders, with pageant veterans Angelica Lopez, Alexie Brooks, and Anne Patricia Diaz emerging as the inaugural winners of the pageant. </p><p>Lopez of Palawan topped a field of 21 candidates and earned the right to represent the Philippines in the next Miss Grand International competition.</p><p>Joining her in the winners’ circle were Alexie Brooks of Iloilo City and Anne Patricia Diaz of Manila, who were named Reina Filipinas MGI All Stars 2026 titleholders and will represent the country in the second edition of MGI All Stars.</p><p>Completing the inaugural Reina Filipinas court were: Cleopatra Barrera as 1st runner-up, Isabelle Ortega as 2nd runner-up, Zeah Nestle Pala as 3rd runner-up, and Luisa Benavides as 4th runner-up.</p><div><br/></div><div><span class="fr-img-caption fr-fic fr-dib" style="width:960px;display:block" width="960"><span class="fr-img-wrap"><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/17861167305691000042213.png" style="width:960px" class="fr-fic fr-dib" width="960"/><span class="fr-inner" style="text-align:left">Angelica Lopez is crowned Reina Filipinas Grand International</span></span></span></div><p>Lopez delivered one of the strongest performances of the competition, consistently standing out in every segment. She captured the Best in Swimsuit award after achieving a perfect score from the judges. She also received the Reina Pasarela and Reina Urban Smiles awards.</p><p>During the final question-and-answer round, Lopez emphasized how the structure of Reina Filipinas provides women with opportunities to learn new skills, grow, and elevate themselves beyond the pageant stage, describing the platform as a “win-win situation” for women seeking both personal development and meaningful opportunities.</p><p>Lopez is no stranger to international pageantry. Reflecting on her personal journey, she shared how the pageant&#x27;s power can make “someone who is as broken as a glass can rise as beautiful as a flower.&quot;</p><p>Brooks entered Reina Filipinas with an impressive pageant résumé. Her transition from the Miss International Queen platform to Reina Filipinas became one of the most compelling narratives of the competition, demonstrating the growing inclusivity of Philippine pageantry.</p><p>In the final question-and-answer segment, Diaz emphasized that Reina Filipinas has consistently highlighted equality and inclusivity, saying that the pageant’s commitment to giving opportunities to all women is what makes “Reina Filipinas number 1” in her eyes.</p><p>The coronation night marked the beginning of a new era in Philippine pageantry. Lopez will be vying to follow in the footsteps of CJ Opiaza and Emma Tiglao, two Pinays who have brought home the once-elusive Miss Grand International crown to the Philippines. </p><p>Meanwhile, Brooks and Diaz will aim to sustain the momentum established by previous Pinay representatives in the first edition of MGI All Stars.</p>
