MGI/Instagram "><span class="fr-inner">A poster for the Miss Grand International coronation night featuring its reigning titleholder, Emma Tiglao of the Philippines. <em>MGI/Instagram</em></span></span></span></div><p>The Miss Grand International 2026 coronation night will no longer be held in India due to the host country&#39;s supposed failure to fulfill contractual commitments.&nbsp;</p><p>On its social media pages on Thursday, September 3, MGI announced that this year&#39;s competition will instead take place in Thailand from September 18 to October 10.&nbsp;</p><p>According to the organization, India was unable to &quot;provide five-star hospitality and maintain five-star production standards,&quot; which it said are &quot;essential to ensuring the safety, comfort, and overall experience of our contestants.&quot; &nbsp;</p><p>&quot;Unfortunately, despite discussions and efforts to address the situation, the agreed contractual standards have not been met.
