Chris Fajardo ang pagbabasbas sa mga lumahok na alagang hayop gaya ng aso, pusa, at rabbit.Kabilang sa mga dumalo ang isang pet owner na kahit may edad at may kapansanan ang mga alaga sinigurong makikisaya pa rin sa okasyon. Bitbit niya ang kanyang 10-taong-gulang na si Katsu, isang Shih Tzu na naputulan ng isang paa, at ang 15-year-old senior dog na si Mochi na tinawag ng may-ari na &quot;cute na cute pa rin&quot; sa isa niyang mata.Nagsagawa rin ng mga talk at workshop para sa mga &quot;fur parent&quot; na binigyan ng sari-saring giveaways.Ginugunita ang World Animal Day na international day of action for animal rights and welfare tuwing sa Oktubre 4 kasabay ng Kapistahan sa Simbahang Katolika ni Saint Francis, na nakilala sa pagiging malapit sa mga hayop.
