MANILA -- After being postponed, the maiden production of The IdeaFirst Live’s &quot;Anino sa Likod ng Buwan&quot; had its closing night on Saturday, November 15.Original cast members Elora Españo, and Ross Pesigan closed the rerun of the production, with Edward Benosa filling in for Martin del Rosario, who had a prior commitment. The film&#x27;s original star Elijah Canlas, along with Epy Quizon, who plays a third character, were also present on Saturday. The film&#x27;s other actor, Romnick Sarmenta, had a prior commitment and couldn&#x27;t attend. The film was first released in Estonia on November 23, 2022, as one of the official entries for the Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival, where it won the Best Film award.The story revolves around Eric (Sarmenta) and his student, Lancelot (Canlas), who talk over a meal at a restaurant, unveiling secrets.“The stage adaptation of Jun Robles Lana’s &#x27;About Us But Not About Us&#x27; brings the acclaimed psychological drama to life in a riveting new theatrical form,&quot; director Tuxqs Rutaquio said. &quot;Stripped down to its essential elements, the production plunges audiences into an intimate battle of wits where truth, power, and personal histories collide. With its razor-sharp dialogue and gripping performances, this adaptation magnifies the film’s quiet tension and emotional ferocity, inviting viewers to confront the stories we tell — about ourselves, for ourselves, and against each other.&quot;&quot;About Us But Not About Us&quot; is set to run from February 14 to March 8, 2026 at the Power Mac Center Spotlight Blackbox Theater in Makati City.
