It will be presided over by Manila Archbishop Jose Cardinal Advincula.A short commemorative program will follow the Mass.More than 30 Maryknoll Sisters from around the world are expected to participate in the celebration.The Maryknoll Sisters arrived in the Philippines in the 1920s, focusing on education as a means to carry out their mission.They established schools, including a normal college in Malabon which would later evolve into Maryknoll College and later Miriam College.Over the decades, the Maryknoll Sisters expanded their work beyond the classroom, reaching communities outside Metro Manila, including Baguio City, Quezon province, Davao and Cotabato, among others.
