<div>[[PHOTO ALBUM]]<br/><br/>Museo del Galeón takes you back through the Philippines’ maritime history via its four-story experiential museum located at the Mall of Asia complex in Pasay City.</div><p>Visitors are invited to rediscover the nation’s complex seafaring identity, tracing its evolution from the past into the future through interactive exhibits and experiential activities that make guests learn more about the footsteps of explorers and traders who navigated the Asia-Pacific centuries ago.</p><p>The museum features four galleries with special emphasis on the Manila Galleon, including artifacts and relics that help learners appreciate Filipinos&#x27; innate seafaring skills. The Galeón Espíritu Santo, a full-scale representation of a 17th-century galleon originally constructed in Cavite in 1603, is aptly displayed at the very heart of the museum.</p><p>Museo del Galeón, which is expected to be completed by October, will open its first two galleries on May 1. These galleries highlight the precolonial seafaring of early Filipinos and &quot;first encounters&quot; with the Spaniards that led to the opening of transpacific routes.
