15,000 runners set for Star Wars Night Run at MOA Complex

Organizers said the event aims to bring together fans and runners in a shared experience.“This partnership brings together storytelling, community and wellness in one unforgettable experience,” RUNRIO president and CEO Rio de la Cruz said. “It’s not just a run — it’s a celebration of fandom and fitness.”Assembly time is set for 10:30 p.m., with the 10K race starting at 11:30 p.m., followed by the 5K at 12:30 a.m. and the 3K at 1:30 a.m.Finishers will receive medals inspired by the Death Star, while themed merchandise, including replica lightsabers and apparel, will also be available. Participants are encouraged to wear costumes inspired by characters from the franchise.Organizers said the event will be held in partnership with several sponsors and hotel partners, including Lanson Place, Citadines Bay City and Okada Manila.
