Filipino supergroup SB19 drew a huge crowd at an immersive pop-up experience in Los Angeles ahead of their highly anticipated Lollapalooza performance. Held last weekend, the event produced by Baryo Ent in partnership with 1Z Entertainment and Lunari Global brought together music, fashion, food, and Filipino culture.The pop-up featured exclusive merchandise, interactive installations, Filipino food, and surprise fan moments --  reflecting the deep connection between SB19 and their international fanbase.<div><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/178520164315033298ddf-cd97-4b5d-abbb-5b10a3c0e4df.jpg" style="width:960px" class="fr-fic fr-dib" width="960"/>SB19. Handout</div>The weekend began with an exclusive VIP preview night last Friday, welcoming media, industry leaders, creators, influencers, and community partners for a first look at the space before opening to the public. Guests enjoyed Filipino hospitality with catering by Manila Inasal and desserts from Cafe 86, alongside Filipino-inspired beverages and wines sponsored by Filipina-owned Felicita Wine Co. Each VIP guest received a custom miniature balikbayan box, thoughtfully curated with beloved Filipino snacks and iconic Filipino essentials like Katinko, as a nostalgic tribute to the tradition of sending care packages home. The keepsake also paid homage to SB19&#x27;s recent <a href="https://www.abs-cbn.com/lifestyle/food-travel/2026/7/26/sb19-named-ph-tourism-ambassadors-1615">appointment as ambassadors for the Philippine Department of Tourism</a>, extending the celebration of Filipino culture beyond music and inviting guests to experience the warmth, heritage, and spirit of the Philippines. When doors opened to the public the following day, the excitement continued. The first 50 fans in line also received the limited-edition balikbayan boxes — and were surprised with an unannounced appearance by SB19, who personally signed each box, creating one of the weekend&#x27;s most memorable moments.Outside, the adjacent lot was transformed into a vibrant Filipino plaza.
