<div><img src="https://od2-image-api.abs-cbn.com/prod/editorImage/1785501519941Photo - Full House Theater Company announces Manila staging of &amp; Juliet .jpg" style="width:960px" class="fr-fic fr-dib" width="960"/>Handout</div>MANILA — Full House Theater Company (FHTC) on Friday announced that it will stage the Tony Award-nominated musical &quot;&amp; Juliet&quot; as part of its 2027 theater season.The jukebox musical reimagines William Shakespeare&#x27;s &quot;Romeo and Juliet&quot; by exploring what might have happened if Juliet had chosen a different path after Romeo&#x27;s death. The production features a book by Emmy Award-winning writer David West Read (&quot;Schitt&#x27;s Creek&quot;) and a score built around pop hits written and produced by Max Martin.The musical includes chart-topping songs such as &quot;Since U Been Gone,&quot; &quot;Roar,&quot; &quot;...Baby One More Time,&quot; &quot;Larger Than Life,&quot; &quot;That&#x27;s the Way It Is&quot; and &quot;Can&#x27;t Stop the Feeling!&quot;Originally premiering in London&#x27;s West End before transferring to Broadway in 2022, &quot;&amp; Juliet&quot; received nine Tony Award nominations, including best musical.The Philippine production will be presented through a special arrangement with Music Theatre International.Full House Theater Company is the in-house production arm of Travellers Group and produces theater shows at Newport World Resorts. It is also set to stage productions at the upcoming Westside Resort.
