Mga Dulang Bittersweet,” a collection of three one-act plays by playwright Eljay Castro Deldoc, will open July 25 at KAL-IBG Theater.Presented by YPC Stage and directed by BJ Borja, the production marks the company&#x27;s maiden staging after a community run in Biñan in December 2025.The production features three plays exploring themes of love, identity, memory and relationships.&quot;Ang Liknayan ng Ating mga Katawan&quot; follows a student who confronts her teacher after he rejects her controversial research paper on love, which has sparked a series of troubling incidents at their school.&quot;Ilihan at Kalingaw&quot; centers on a poet-historian who defies her tribe&#x27;s traditions by documenting a forbidden romance.&quot;Ganito ang Pinangarap Kong Kasal&quot; tells the story of two longtime partners and their closest friend as they navigate love, friendship and societal expectations.The cast includes Ross Pesigan and Jury Sanchez in &quot;Ang Liknayan ng Ating mga Katawan&quot;; Gab Pangilinan and Euden Moje in &quot;Ilihan at Kalingaw&quot;; and Kokoy de Santos, Phi Palmos and Loudette Barias in &quot;Ganito ang Pinangarap Kong Kasal.&quot;The creative team includes production designer Carlo Pagunaling, lighting designer Gabo Tolentino, sound designer Arkel Mendoza and creative director Carlo Cannu.Performances are scheduled on July 25, 26, August 1, 2, 8 and 9 at 2 p.m. and 7 p.m., with a gala performance on August 7 at 7 p.m., at KAL-IBG Theater in UP Diliman.
